The bridges we take to get to where we need to go are not always the safest or the shortest, but they do the job.
One of the most interesting things about our life is how things are connected. How we get from one point in our life to the next. Sometimes it’s explainable and sometimes its a mysterious power that gets us where we are meant to be. The people we meet can lead us to more connecting points in our life and allow us to cross a bridge and move forward.
We tend to want to build our own bridge and do things our way, but most of the time you have to take that bridge with missing boards, loose nails and no railings.
Those bridges tend to be our least favorite. They are not enjoyable. In fact they are scary at times. As much as we don’t enjoy them, they give us the courage and the confidence to defeat what lies on the other side. Water under the bridges we cross turns into blood we can shed for a greater good. For a greater self. For those around us.
What unsafe bridges did you have to cross in your life? What bridges do you see approaching?

Why are your photographs so beautiful?

Thanks Jacob. I’m not totally sure how to explain that, but once I started trying that’s when I started to see progress. I just began to commit to photography vs committing to video. I do miss doing video projects, but I think that may be for another time in my life.
