There is nothing heavier than something on your mind.
We all think about so many things all of the time. Sometimes things pass by like usual, but sometimes things stay. They hover over our heads and sometimes we can feel like our own fate is on our shoulders. Sometimes the fate of someone else. That is some heavy stuff. Is there something wrong with the Earth’s gravitational pull? I am afraid not Doc, but it sure can feel like it.
So how do we lift this weight and remove all this stress?
Just the act of starting a conversation about things that are bothering you is a great step in the right direction.
It’s not going to be your solution, but it will be a great vessel to get you there. Talking about your problems or things that are bothering you are so healthy. Holding in emotions and feelings can be such a burden on our soul. It can wear it away.
Talking with someone that genuinely cares and wants to listen is very important as well. We can’t just puke out our emotions on just anyone. We also can’t expect to do that all the time, even to someone we do care about. We have to be will to return the favor when they need it too. We have to supplement ourselves in other ways to keep ourselves strong so we don’t keep relying on others to help us solve our problems.
