This is a wall at my parent’s house that has all of our high school photos, including my mother and father. That’s me in the bottom left, I’m the 2nd youngest in the family.
My father has taught me through his actions and decisions in life just as much as he has to say. His commitment to family, schools and his generosity to others is astounding.
I love my father very much, but we should not forget others that father us in life. People that have invested in us in small ways. It all adds up.
This is a photo from last year when my friend Gary and I took my dad to see some of the waterfalls with are within 60 miles from where he lives. It’s truly amazing when you can find ways to bond with your Father as you grow older.
You get to a point in your life where you realize how equal you are in the world, yet we always need those reminders from good old Dad.
My dad is awesome and I never stop finding new reasons to explain why.
