Fires within us fuel our commitments.
It is so important to keep things that we are passionate about in our lives. It is never easy, but it is most rewarding. The real question is how do we keep going? What if we haven’t started committing to them yet? What if we left a passion behind and are trying desperately to get it back? I will speak from experience and say that starting is probably the hardest part of just about any passion and project that I have. Once we start the fires they seem to fuel themselves.
Too much talk, not enough action.
I can’t tell you how many ideas I have had in my head. I am not going to say that all of them were great ideas, but I can guarantee that I would have learned something from them. We learn through trials, through mistakes, through failures. When we follow through it creates a habit of completing goals. We can talk all we want, but if you don’t take any action to start them, you can just call that idea a lump of coal. I have had so many projects go to the back burner. 2013 is the year I get these projects started and finished. I can talk all I want, but it is my actions that create the evidence for the words I speak.
