Do not be foolish with endangerment. Only be courageous when necessary.
There is something to be said about people that have a lot of guts. I am not one of those people. I don’t think I am very courageous. I’m a coward. Most of us probably feel we are cowards when it comes to taking a risk or being in danger. We all want to feel safe and there is nothing wrong with that.
We need to know when to put ourselves out there. To take risks. But it must be for a greater good.
There are moments in our life where you will have to give up something. You may not be giving up our life, like a martyr, but it may be something very important to you. It won’t be easy, but you need to know if it’s worth it. Is it worth the sacrifice?
Sometimes we lose something or someone and it is outside of our control. We lose a job, we lose a loved one, we lose things important to us. We have to be willing to carry the weight.
Fortitude is knowing when to take that intense step forward into an unknown. You put yourself out there because you know it has to be done.
You know that if you don’t take the chance, no one else will for you.
