This photograph was taken early morning at Lake Michigamme in Michigan’s upper peninsula. Beautiful sky, reflections, and calm waters. You can even spot my friend’s father on his fishing boat. It has been a blessing to be welcomed to their cabin every year. This image is just a fraction of what the Lake provides us. It is a place of healing, a place of serenity, and a place where people gather to be merry and celebrate.
I always fall in love with the colors of the sky in the early morning. It’s even greater to see how the camera can see the sky. I was able to capture this amazing landscape with a an aperture of f/11 and a shutter speed of 1/640 to really increase shadows and saturation of the colors the earth was presenting.
