Do you struggle with the idea that what you do isn’t good enough? Whether you write or raise a family you probably have the same high standards as I do with myself.
Who doesn’t want to be successful in everything they do?
The problem is that we overwhelm ourselves with extremely high standards by taking in more information, ideas and moments than we actually create. You and I both see what everyone else is doing all the time. We focus on the cumulative amounts and forget that if you break it down only a few people are constantly making their own story to tell. Those people are finding success through creating their own ideas, strong families and moments. They aren’t concerned with knowing everything all the time.
Their success is a direct reflection of their focus and trust in themselves and not the rest of the world.
You must learn to trust yourself and stop worrying about everyone else. It’s ok to find inspiration through the rest of the world, but don’t let it take up all of your time. Be ok with not being up to date all the time. Be ok with unplugging and being unaware of trends and how to “hack your life.”
Trust in your heart that you are already great. That you don’t need the Internet to tell you how to live. Write because you love it. Live because it makes you who you are.

Good to hear my friend. Glad it found you well. I’ve been doing a bit of soul searching lately. Living in limbo between my current job and a new opportunity. Anxious and restless. This is when I learn the most about myself.

Hey!
This is so nice!
Sometimes we get stuck, because we see everybody doing such nice things that we get lost.
Your post is kind of light.
Cheers! :)
