Sharp, Fast Wide Angle Lens for only $499
The Bower 24mm F/1.4 has been discontinued and is sharp and fast lens to add to your arsenal of lenses. The price has dropped from $699 to $499 which is a great deal, especially if you need a fast wide angle and don’t have one. This is great news for any of you folks shooting with cropped or micro 4/3 sensors. I have used the Rokinon 35mm and 85mm f/1.4 lenses and they are fantastic manual lenses to shoot with. The focus pull is very smooth because it has great drag when you turn. If you were not aware, Rokinon and Bower products are both owned and produced by Samyang, so the lens build and quality are essentially the same.
B&H has them available for purchase at this reduced price until March 5th, 2013.
