Tim Scharrer is 17 years old and he loves to build longboards by hand.
If there is one thing that is really inspirational and compelling to me, it’s when I hear about teenagers doing amazing things. It is easy to put them all in the same box. We tend to put the younger generations in class of “still learning” or “not ready.”
Honestly, I think that’s a bunch of bull crap.
We can no longer define passion, persistence, and will power by age. Ideas are not to be hounded by the the older and so called “wiser” generations. Even youth have something to say and something to build. We need to help guide them so they can reach the goals they dream of. Helping someone grow as a leader that executes what they believe in is so important.
I’ve never even met the guy and I already believe in what Tim is all about. I honestly want to meet him and help him out in any way I can.
Wisconsin needs to support passionate people like Tim. We need more people like Tim to inspire us as well.
