I love Soundcloud. I love how it looks, I love their beautiful embedding options for websites and blogs. I just love to listen to music on it too. Sometimes you have one of those days where a single song really gets your going. It gets you so pumped up and focused on getting some work done or maybe it just gets you excited to be alive. When it comes to Soundcloud, there is no loop button in their online player or in the app either. That is a mega bummer.
If you are listening to a single song on Soundcloud in your web browser there is one little trick that can really give you that fix though. It’s one of the many awesome keyboard shortcuts for soundcloud.
How to loop a track on Soundcloud.
When using Soundcloud on your computer, play your song a then hit “Shift+L” once and it will loop that track. You can disable it by entering it one more time.
You will not see a light or button turn on anywhere, but trust me, it will work. It’s my favorite little secret with Soundcloud. I just wish you could make your own playlist and loop it, because sometimes you can only find these songs on Soundcloud and can’t download them anywhere.
Please share this awesome little secret with others. Also, if you’re using Windows, you should try this windows password reset tool in case you forgot your previous password and want to reset it.

I love it too. I’m learning to make electronic music, so SC has been my escape and inspiration.

Do you know if there is a way to control it while in another application? These commands only work if you are in the browser.. Does anyone know of a workaround for this?
Jacob Miller says
As far as I know, it is not an option within the iPhone app. I wish it was! The Android version might be different, but I have not been able to find a solution for mobile.

Sorry, but I hate this very much. I accidentally ‘unliked’ a track with the ‘L’ key which was a track that I liked very long ago. It was on accident, because I also use ‘L’ to skip 10 seconds on YouTube. So now the track is gone from my list of likes (which has already 642 tracks in total). If I like it again, it is all the way up as if it is liked very recently.. Is there a way to disable these shortcuts? It annoys me a lot.

I’m sorry that happened Ramon! I wrote this post a while back. Maybe they changed some things? I’m not sure if there is a way to disable it. I’ll have to look into it.

Hi Jacob.
As far as I know it doesn’t look like they have an option for it to disable. Maybe it is a good idea to contact soundcloud. I see that I have actually e-mailed SoundCloud Support on 22th of October about the same problem. No answer received anyway.

Hmm. I hope they get back to you!
