There is the old saying “to go off the beaten path” that seems to come up here and there in our life. We see what everyone else is doing and we want a life parallel to theirs because it seems attractive, exciting, adventurous and just “different”.
The one thing I’ve realized though is that I really don’t want to be like anyone else. I don’t want to follow the same path. Why should I? Even though their life is off the beaten path, I’d much rather be different in my own light, my own path.
