There are so many types of plant life in Wisconsin and just because we grew up with them we seem to look past them. This plant was nearing it’s death with the coming of Autumn and had lost all of it’s green luster, but the earth from which it came showed me how it was bright and graceful through the lens. This is a photograph from one of many that I took while on a autumn drive through Wisconsin and Michigan. It was probably one of the best experiences I have had seeking out the color and beauty of the season. We were able to plan our drive on a weekend meant for perfection. Stay tuned for more photographs of the season that shows us life and death in a matter of weeks.
