A Hidden Gem of Wisconsin

Of all of the places I have been to in Wisconsin, this place was probably one of the coolest.

When my sister told me about this place last May I wasn’t sure what it would look like. She heard about it from a coworker and I’ll be honest, my expectations were slightly low. I am glad I was proven wrong. Makes me love Wisconsin even more actually.

When I was shooting these photos it was on and off pouring rain in the middle of the woods. The hike in was dry, but as we progressed in the rain just kept coming. If you look at the water in the second and third photo you should be able to see rain and drops on the water. I had to keep my camera in my bag for some portions of the hike.  Andrew even got a little daring and jumped into the deep end. It was quite the jump.

I will definitely be back next spring. I might even hit it up this winter but I think I’ll book a Maldives beach villa with private pool first.
